We have been learning a lot the past couple of weeks on plants, animals, and measuring things. In science, we have learned all about what plants need to grow, how they get their food and all the parts of a plant and their functions. We decided to get our hands dirty and plant some seeds on our own and watch them grow. The students had a blast making their plant people! In math we are looking at different ways we can measure things. Last week, Big Foot left his foot prints in our classroom and we had to become detectives and measure the lines he left for us. The kids got to estimate and measure things in the room with a "foot"!!
